Porch & Canopy FAQs
What is your typical design process for a bespoke porch?
We begin with a consultation to understand your home’s architectural character. From there, gathering precise measurements and understanding your requirements. From there, our team carefully and thoughtfully designs your porch, ensuring it complements your home perfectly. Once approved, we bring the design to life using traditional craftsmanship and high-quality materials.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We offer delivery and instillation which is individually quoted based on location and the structure of the oak frame. We handle the entire process from inital survey to installation to ensure your bespoke canopy or porch is structually sound and perfectly intergrated into your home's facade.
Do you offer roofing?
We specalise in the deisgn and construction of high-quality timber porches, but do not supply or install roofing. This allows you flexibility to choose a roofing solution that best suits your property and prefrences.
Do I need planning permission for my new porch?
Most small architectural porches fall under 'Permitted Development,' but rules can vary in conservation areas. We can provide technical drawings to assist your local authority enquiries if needed.
What types of timber and finishes do you offer?
We primarily work with high-grade European Oak and Douglas Fir. Finishes range from traditional oils that enhance natural grain to contemporary treatments designed for maximum weather protection.
